Shimano Cattery has been established since 1989 on the Sunshine Coast Qeensland. My love affair with siamese started in 1976 when I had my first blue point. It wasn't until some years later that I decided to show and breed.
I fell in love with the many colours of siamese and orientals and my first show I became addicted! I have produced many BIS winners and many lovely babies over the years. All kittens are reared in the home and we are situated on 2 1/2 acres near Eumundi. My passion could not be realised without the tollerance of my wonderful family and the help of some dear friends and fellow cat breeders of whom I am eternally grateful.Hope you enjoy the tour thru Shimano Cattery and enjoy as much as I do . Over the years I have stewarded, show managed, been club president and now vice president and have been aproached to become a trainee judge. Unfortunately due to my work as a registered nurse my hours dont permit me at present to take on the responsibility of judging. However who knows what the future will bring.I really must say a special thanks to Gladys a dear 80 yr old friend who started me off here in Queensland and is still enjoying her cats.
